cold front and warm front collided right over Emmetsburg, IA. We
sent most of the [STT Iowa]
staff home and a few of us stood guard scanning the sky for about 5
hours. Funnel clouds were dropping all over the region and here are a few pictures. It was my very first time to actually see a funnel cloud drop from the sky and touch down.
